About Tenny International School System
Our Story
Tenny International School System has Early Childhood, Primary, Junior, Secondary, and Senior High School programs. The school is privately owned and operated by Prof. Lester Tenny (PhD) and his wife, Korpo Peters Tenny. The school is non-denominational but promotes the values of Christ in its operation. The school recognizes the role quality education plays in the development of any nation and therefore seeks to provide 21st Century education to the people of Liberia, combining technology with traditional teaching and focusing on the STEM program.
Our History
How We Began
Tenny International School System was founded by Dr. and Mrs. Lester Zomatic Tenny on September 8, 2023. Dr. Tenny is a full professor of economics at the state-run University of Liberia graduate school on Capitol Hill, Monrovia, Liberia. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economics from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Dr. Tenny has served in various portfolios in and out of Liberia, including Dean of the A. Romeo Horton College of Business and Public Administration at the University of Liberia, and has taught in the Caleb University (Nigeria) graduate program in economics; he is a member of the Nigeria Economics Society (NES). Dr. Tenny is married to Mrs. Korpo Peters Tenny, and the union is blessed with three children: Lester, Arthur, and Prince Tenny.
